Journal Entry #478

If I could make it so that you would feel the pain or emotions of another when you hurt them I would. If you kill someone then you will feel what they feel. Would you still hurt another? Would you help them feel good so you can feel good?
If I could let you see yourself as others see you I would? How would you see yourself then?
If I could show you what is really true in a way you could not deny I would because the truth will set you free.
If I could stop humanity from harming one another I would.
If I could find a way for all to have free energy I would.
If I could see the world the way you see it I would just for a moment.
If I could find a way for us to truly listen to each other I would
If I could find a way for people to not suffer I would.
But I can’t because we are what we are and reality doesn’t work that way.
I do believe we can be better at what we are. I do believe we can rise to the challenges we face. I do believe we can start treating each other with dignity, respect and empathy. Sure I probably sound like a fool as history shows this to be an impossible task but I must look with eyes that see what we can be not what we are.
I refuse to feel helpless and I refuse to give up and accept my lot in life. I am not naive or noble. I am a realist who believes in the greatness of humanity. I don’t know how we will overcome our desires that keep us from evolving I just know that this is the path I hope for.
I promote reason and the truth in all matters and I will continue this until the day I die. This is my chosen quest in life.
Seek the truth always
