During conversations I have with the faithful there is a progression I have noticed. I am as respectful in my questions and comments as I can be. I focus only on the issues trying very hard not to get personal in any way. They assume I will be easily convinced and should see god’s love as they do but I am not. I base everything on evidential truth. The funny thing is that at any time they can just stop talking with me or not reply to me at all. I force no one.

I am of the view that no one can insult me, I can only insult myself. I believe this to be true for everyone.

Step #1 shower me with Christian love.

Step #2 Try and convince me with the standard arguments always with a God Bless you at the end of each comment.

Steps #3 get angry that I am questioning their faith and how dare me.

Step #4 apologize and try love again.

Step #5 if they have lasted this long they try and put forth the best evidence they have.

Step #6 Get angry again telling me I am blind to what they have offered me.

Step # 7 this is the big one… Tell me I am insulting them and harassing them.

Here is a fine example of Step # 7. There was much more but apparently it was all deleted as they have taken the step to block me since they have no real evidence..

What you do on Born Again is harassment, plain and simple of people you disagree with. There are any numbers of things I disagree with but I don’t go to the people who believe those things pages on Facebook and mock them. You obviously don’t speak Webster’s Dictionary English if you cannot see that you are mocking and ridiculing the people on Born Again. If you had a shred of human decency you would just leave us alone. If you were truly tolerant you wouldn’t care that we believed something different than you. Are you going to pages of believers of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and all the other religions? or is it just Christians that you like to challenge, knowing that we are not violent and so you skin is in no danger? Finally we don’t have to allow you to post on the page any administrator can block you at any time. Tolerance means leaving people who disagree with you alone, not listening to any insult that comes your way. It means to live and let live. Oh and incidentally the turn the other cheek verse simply is speaking, culturally, of accepting insult and Jesus was speaking specifically to Jews who were alive and breathing, not to the as yet non-existent church. Tolerance is a two way street and Christians are nowhere in the Bible told to be doormats, we are even allowed to get angry if we don’t sin. I am writing this to you privately and will continue to respond privately because BornAgain is a page for Christians to encourage one another, not an argument forum. So why don’t you just go away?

Let me be clear… It is your right to feel however you want to about what I write. I have done nothing disrespectful but you are welcome to take it how you want to. All I have done is engage in the quest to challenge your claims simple as that.

I was asked by the admin to join this page I did not seek it out. I made my intentions very clear.

You have decided what the page is for you. I will continue to respond on the page as I was asked to offer my challenges. I have been respectful. If you don’t like what I post don’t read it or answer me also very simple. I do not swear or insult I provoke thoughts and answers to a very incredible claim you and other Christians have made. Look the internet is public Ok.

If you are not up to the challenge then don’t respond but please don’t play the leave me alone and you have insulted me card. I am not into drama.

In fact I am the one who has been insulted and treated very badly all the while I have maintained my composure and engaged in a respectful manner.

If you want me to go away you can do one of 3 things

1. Give me credible evidence.

2. Have me banned .

3. Just ignore me.

I am doing nothing wrong. Is this how you respond when you have nothing else to say.

Again I was invited to do this.. They wanted practise arguing with an atheist and trying to convert me.

Again go to my website I have offered you. I am respectful and If you cannot handle this then that is your choice. Besides if what you say is true then you have nothing to worry about.

There is nothing you can say that will offend me so do what you must.    

By the way I challenge all religious claims and I have many who seek me out to try and convince me I am not just on the born again page. Try not to take thing so personal it is about the issues for me.

I have found that so far there has been no evidence presented to me that has been credible. Emotions will change nothing in regards to what is true and what is not.

If Atheists Acted Religious.

I have decided that in my life enough is enough. Religions have been relentless in the advancement of their agenda and for me it was just time to challenge them on it.  If it is true then there should be no problem in producing plenty of evidence. Religion has been around a long time so the evidence for god should be there.

I will continue what I do no matter how people react I will maintain my composure in the pursuit of truth and challenging claims.

They keep saying they are done talking with me but then they just keep talking. I guess they feel they have to have the last word.
