Ok sometimes I think I am very clever and often realize later I am not but this time I think I nailed it.

Thought I would put a twist on the find Waldo concept and created Find Jesus.

‎“Find Jesus” How hard can it be? Now I made this so if you are stuck I will verify he is in there.

Please feel free to share and let others find Jesus.

Now the very idea of using the name Jesus changes everything as the perceived implications will cloud peoples judgement right away.

- Is this just a puzzle and does the word Jesus really matter?

- Did I really put a Jesus in there? I told people to take my word for it so will they?

- Will you think I am lying if you cannot find Jesus as one person did?

- Is there a hidden meaning behind all of this?

- If you find Jesus and then say I found Jesus what does this mean?

Well if I continue to take your word and still can’t “find” him then that tells me, either I’m blindly following, or I’m just following the blind.

I think you get the idea. Did I make this to prove a point and if I did what would that point be? Is it just a puzzle, a game or is there a deeper meaning behind all of this. I will let you be the judge.

Let me know if you find Jesus and then don’t forget to tell everyone else that you found Jesus and show them so they can find Jesus on their own. After all where is the fun in spoiling it?

At times it seems that nothing seems to go our way that something is plotting against us and that life is trying to beat us up and kick us when we are down. I have no idea why this happens if there is an actual cause or if it is just the way life works but it is during these time that we look for answers as to why things are going as we see it wrong. This is the time we need to do our best to get through seek out answers that are true to the best of our knowledge and do our best to move on dealing with what is in our control.

My son had a car accident last night and it was a good one. He is fine and that is what must be the focus. We can always get another car but not another son. It is times like this that we should pause and see the value in what we have, in what we can loose and what is truly important. Some may do this and others may just focus on the negatives. I will choose to be thankful for what I do have.

Is there something trying to direct our lives, to tell us a message to correct an unbalance in the natural order or is it that shit just happens?

Often it takes these events to give us a smack and let us know we need to readjust, to take stock of our lives and to move on in a direction that is not the one we are taking.  This is a crucial time as I feel that most people when this happens focus on the wrong things tending to look for a solution that is truly not the right one and to blame others and life for what they should be taking responsibility for. We must pause and say what do I have that I am not valuing right now, doesn’t matter what the negatives are as we can let them become our focus what matters is what I don’t want to lose. Think about whom if they died you would be in terrible pain, who you would miss and then just get on with the positives in life. Yes of course we have to deal with any problems we have created and the consequences of our actions but if you focus on these positives the solutions and the way you deal with the perceived terrible things in your life will all seem trivial. Value the people your truly love as they cannot be replaced but all things can.

No matter what you are going through, no matter how bad the situation seems, no matter the problems you face they can all be overcome. Anything you felt as a negative should take on new meaning once this is realized and you should find yourself seeing life with different eyes, eyes that are clear and eyes that have true hope. The problems you have been running from, not wanting to deal with or that seem overwhelming will be nothing to overcome.

We often travel down a path of avoidance that leads us in making bad decisions that we think ar good ones at the time and no one can tell us any different. It shouldn’t but it often takes a traumatic event in ones life  to bring this to light. Again this is where it becomes crucial that we do not keep running but think that we are not as one
must always go back and face the problems that brought us there in the first place.

Take a marriage for example there are always points where things become overwhelming and the act of living gets in the way of what should be important. Then the blame and dislike start to creep in and eventually the hate takes over as the wall is built. Now I am not referring to a relationship of continual violence and controlling behaviour but to just the average couple who just gets beat up at times by what life dishes out. It is at this point that it would be wise to see the things that they saw in each other when they first got married, to focus on the love they had and when this is done the other problems start to fall into place for what they truly are just problems that life hands us daily.

It is so easy to comfort yourself and hide from what one must face but again these issues and problems will have to be faced no matter what so why not do it together then when tragedy strikes there will be strength for all. When we have those close calls we will rally around those we love and deal with what life throws at us.

Secrets and lies kill in life and they are often the product of our imagination as the reality of the situation is usually nowhere close to the fantasy that we build to protect ourselves during the tough times in life.

So take pause in your life, be thankful for what you do have, for what you do not want to lose and let down those walls. If you have taken the time to build lives with people think hard about them on a daily basis to what is really important and don’t let life separate you from this. Nothing will be stronger in the end.  

Maybe there is a force in the universe at work maybe it is trying to tell us to not get caught up in the crap that is going to happen anyways and that we usually make worst be not facing it. Maybe this force is trying to bring balance back in to our lives and maybe we should pause to listen.

This is it folks, this is what I keep talking about in as many ways as I can. If you are sick of hearing it from me I am not sorry because this will be the solution to pretty much everything we do that is not working. This will allow everything to work in the first place. Absolute honesty, integrity and value of the truth is vital. Without it we live with deceit and the foundation of all relationships which is trust.

On a personal level;

If we are not honest with ourselves, if we are not honest with those we love and interact with then we have no trust. If we have trust and find out that lies are involved that trust is broken. If that trust is broken then our daily life’s are directed towards pain and misery. This is what makes a relationship work, any relationship.

One lie will lead to another to cover it up and before you know the web is so thick that we have trapped ourselves and do not know how to get out. It is this point we begin to engage in behaviour that attempts to forget momentarily the situation we find ourselves in. This manifests itself in many ways which I am sure you have seen or may have even done. We must always tell the truth.

You may right now be thinking of a situation where lying is the thing you have to do but I can guarantee you that it will be born of a lie and one lie will lead to another. Are we capable of telling the truth always? Do we get ourselves into a position where the lie eventually becomes the truth? Maybe but it will not matter as the truth will always come out.

Many of the medical problems we face can be traced back to lying to ourselves. Solving this one problem will eliminate so much pain and misery. The truth may hurt when you first hear it but the pain of not knowing or being lied to will have dire effects. Think of any personal relationship you have and if it in any way is not built on complete honesty which begets trust it will be strained and will manifest in unhealthy symptoms. I realize that most do not want to hear this and even if you accept this you probably will still engage in behaviour that is unhealthy but the truth is the key to a sane world, a sane life and sane relationships.

Applied to the belief systems around the world;

Let’s face a few facts here and I and others have written about this many times, when we cannot verify something as true such as god or any belief system that relies on faith we must suspend judgement which means we just basically put the belief aside into a category where while it may be true we cannot accept it as true. If we believe in as true and follow the system we are just fooling ourselves. The lie we follow then becomes incredibly elaborate and we wrap it in so many layers of lies that well it just could not possible be false at this point. Sorry to inform you but a lie is still a lie no matter how you wrap it up, no matter how much you want it to be true and no matter how many people believe in it.

This system of lies that humanity has created with all the rules it entails is still a lie. Are we that gullible and ignorant of how reality works that we refuse to acknowledge this? Maybe we are and if so this is just sad. How many life’s will be destroyed, be in pain, be in denial because we simply refuse to accept what is true?  This lie has impregnated our societies so deeply that to even question it brings about more lies. The trust around the world is nonexistent because of this.

It is this very fact I have mentioned that brings me to say that religion backed by believing in and acting on the lies it professes is the number one cause of much of our misery and pain, it is the problem we must face.

I don’t really care what justification you can come up with, what excuse you offer me as to why I am wrong the facts will demonstrate otherwise and this is what I go by the facts not speculation or beliefs. This is what we should all go by but we don’t.

Solution;

Stop lying. Stop lying to yourself first then to others. If you are involved with someone who is lying from personal to public to global call them on it. If we do not and continue to allow it to dominate our world it will continue to be the core problem we face.

I ask this one question and it really is not that hard to answer as we already have a dictionary definition;

What is the truth and how do we determine what is true? The answer to this is well laid out and yet people continually ignore this replacing it with an answer that allows them to justify their lies perpetuating the cycle of the main problem. We actually shun those that call us on our lies as we just refuse to face them even though the effects of the lies can be seen everywhere. This is the simple solution but will surely take time to implement. I find people fight this idea hard. I have seen every excuse imaginable to show me why this is the lie and that I am the one lying, that they have the truth and that I just do not see it.

What can I say the evidence shows otherwise. So set yourself free and stop lying……….

When I put my head on my pillow at night I can truly say that I have been truthful and that I value truth even though in doing so I pay a heavy price. Can you say the same thing? Are you being truthful and really this is the most important thing we can do in life, the most important thing we can teach our children as all else will hinge on this one ideal.

Who Hijacked Reality / #622 The choices we make….

Each day we all make many choices and sometimes we realize the consequences and sometimes we don’t but I do believe we will always do what we feel is best for us at that moment.

I believe we are limited in our choices as we have no control over what others do and what the natural world will do so we are confined within our view of the universe, of the planet and of the world that we surround our self with.

Delaying a choice is still a choice and once one realizes this it becomes easier to make choices that will have a better chance at positive results than negative. Often choices we make will decide the choices others must make and then they now must decide their options based on their inability to choose for others.

Life certainly seems complicated at times but if I can break it down I may offer to you that it really is simple. A problem or dilemma at times may seem overwhelming at times but if you are able to see the core or foundational choice that will determine either a problem being solved or continuing to be a problem then that will be the choice you make. From there you make choices in that direction.

This is what I see as the hard part for many; they do not see reality in the situation and if you are trying to include unrealistic options the choice will have unrealistic results.

Each problem we face is dealt with this system; At times we may bypass some steps very quickly but this will be the thought process. We may bounce back and forth between these steps or we may never get to the final step which will not allow the problem to be solved but nevertheless this will be the process. You can acknowledge this process which will give you a better chance at solving the problem or you can deny it and the problem will not be solved, your choice.

Now these stages are usually associated with loss and death but I do believe they have a much wider application and are vital in most problem solving. I must point as the article does that the stage of acceptance does not preclude everything being rosy and peachy it allows one to reach a stage where they can realistically deal with the problem and find a solution that will help them move on to the next daily event in life without carrying the weight of the previous problem. No matter what it is, no matter how big or how small this process is vital.

No one escapes this process, no matter how strong or confident you think you are we will all go through this and to recognize this as valid is a great start to a healthy mind which leads to a healthy life.

So realistically we need to get to a stage where we realize what we can control, what we have influence over and what we do not. This has been offered in many different ways from many different cultures in the form of prayer, affirmations and just general wisdom and to deny this process is unrealistic and the first part of the process.

Find those that can guide you, help you and have your best interests at heart and this will help you get through the process and onto the next stage of your life.

Personally I try and be as realistic and rational as possible and when faced with problems I acknowledge this process as true and do my very best to work my way through it.

Life is not fair, we do not always get what we want in fact I would say most of the time we don’t but the idea is to find the best possible happiness. How you do this will be your journey and how I do it will be mine I just hope we all have a great journey along the way.

So think about your choices carefully and the consequences of that choice both negative and positive before you make it but remember once a choice is made it cannot be unmade.

During a discussion I was having where I posted the true Christian dilemma as 2 Christians with similar ideas about their faith were saying how everyone else has it wrong I posted my video as an example of how we just need to step up and stop treating each other as enemies. The person removed it as they felt the links that you tube offered after the video was finshed were not appropriate for the people on his list as he is a youth pastor. Now I cannot help what you tube posts after and really to try and stop others from making decisions as to what to watch is not cool in my books. This will just peak their curiosity even more.

Now I understand he wants to maintain a squeaky clean image but it is what it is and the song is a great message. The discussion that followed quickly from my perspective generated into one of arrogance and righteousness on their part but you be the judge.

Even when I offer something that can be viewed by all as a great message it appears people will find a reason to promote their exact agenda. I get it that he has a right to take it away because of his association but really the song is just a good message…

I really thought that Christians and all people would be able to relate as the message is universal and one of compassion and kindness.. Also Do you not think people are smart enough to make their own choices and really if they want something inappropriate you will not stop them. I didn’t write that I was offended, merely that I need to be aware of where links go that are posted on my page. I don’t think your new song (which I have watched) is inappropriate.

Your song FMF doesn’t “offend” me, but I’m sorry to say that I would not think it appropriate to play to a young child that might miss your intended message and simply repeat the chorus. If a Christian friend put a link on my page with doctrine / views that I found misleading, I would remove it too (and I have).

I am concerned about the young people I am responsible for.

And, it has nothing to do with smart. Temptation visits all of us.

Can I control “everything”? Of course not, nor do I need to. Being responsible and thinking about others sometimes calls for making the “best” decision in a given situation.

Gary David Currie, am I the only one that finds it odd that atheists always have to resort to the “everyone else is delusional, we are the only sane people” cry when unable to make “progress”? Basically, the atheist actually believes himself to superior to everyone that is not. Now that is a dangerous mindset! The atheist claims to want to “work with all people”, but actually proudly believes themselves smarter than anyone that is not an atheist — since those other people can only be delusional or uneducated.

Whereas the true Christian believer has realized that he/she is JUST AS BAD and foolish as everyone else and comes to the realization that humanity is not suffering from a MENTAL problem, but a sin problem.

Belief Pictures…… On a serious side I think the whole atheist movement is a bunch of bunk. It’s a cop out. It’s like M____ said a moral problem… it’s so they can live their own immoral lifestyle and do things this way… this isn’t Burger King. You cannot have it your way!

Christian……..Gary, you’re correct — this discussion is a bit too familiar! (We might have engaged in it once or twice before!) – lol !!!

We are indeed on an interesting journey called life. One other common ground (I assume) we all have is that we believe we only get “one shot” at it to get it right and that we are doing what we believe is best.

My final comment: If I’m on the right track (and of course I believe & hope I am), I truly hope you’ll get on the same train so we can arrive at the same station someday! ;)
