Journal Entry #648

May 5th, 2012

We are all looking for that magic formula to life, to answer those big questions and to navigate our way through our daily activities. We all want happiness and to be successful. Each one of us will determine this in a different way but I do believe I have found the secret well I call it that because people love secrets but really it is just something as a species I see us continually failing at. Understanding this one concept I do believe will change so much for us.

I see this in my daily discussions, in personal relationships and all over the world. What it leads to I do believe is the basis for so many of our conflicts on every scale imaginable.

Are you ready?

I will personalize this but the idea is that if everyone adopted this it would open the doors for us all.

I am willing to admit and accept that I can be wrong on anything.

You would not believe how many people that will not accept this. It doesn’t matter their belief system in fact most belief systems demand that you cannot accept this which is the flaw and the control mechanism. They have built in punishments for doing so and are well crafted to take away the option.

If I follow my motto of seeking the truth always then I must do this even though I could be wrong on this as well. Over the last 2 years the acceptance of this has proven to me to be the one thing we need to do because when we do we actually break down all the walls and open ourselves up to the truths in life that we all seek but many think the have found.

This does not mean we do not accept certain things as true based on the available information but we realize theta things can change. Change is a constant that has proven itself beyond a reasonable doubt at this time so to not accept this is to ignore reality as we know it.

The objection to the admittance of being wrong is vast and sometimes hostile. When it comes to a personal belief that someone accepts as an absolute they will adamantly object. This has lead to so much misery in the world and so much pain when the simple acceptance of this will prevent much of the harm we inflict upon ourselves. We accept that we live in a world of uncertainty and I do believe that is a good thing.

We all seek the truth and yet so few are willing to even define it, here is my definition and I certainly could be wrong.

Truth- all that is, all that is real, all that is part of reality and all that is factual.

How we determine what is true based on a shared accepted point of reference we call reality. – Verification through the method of the scientific process, reason and logic.

I believe that we cannot verify anything 100% as doubt can always be cast however small so we work on a system of probabilities, best guess and beyond reasonable doubt to
say that we know something is true.

We should never believe anything in the unknown to be true until it is verified as known. We can speculate, imagine and engage in fantasy thinking but must always come back to our base of reality. The unknown should not be used as an argument to dispute the known or another unknown as this is just pure speculation.

For every question there can only be one answer that is true.

Once something is known it is no longer up for debate there is only acceptance or ignorance.

There is only truth based on my definition.

The truth will remain the truth no matter what we think our try and do to it, we are powerless over it and yet it is what gives us our power.

Something is either true or it is not even if we do not know if it is true or not.

This frees our minds to offer the most fantastic answer ever “ I DON’T KNOW” which is the answer on the vast majority of questions we ask and I am ok with this. I will qualify it by adding this “I don’t know but let’s see if we can find out”.

Now everything we do takes on a new meaning as our minds become open like when we were children when all things seemed full of wonder and awe. We no longer need to fight over who is right and who is wrong because we all know we could all be wrong so we are willing to take the best guess.

This is what science offer us and the method is sound;

Here is the Scientific method so we are clear;

1. We often first make an observation of something that has happened.

2. We then consider what caused this thing to happen by posing an educated uess or hypothesis.

3. we can then make predictions about what we should expect to see if our hypothesis is correct.

4. If necessary, experimentation and data collection may be conducted.

5. Further observation is necessary, which will lead to 3 possible outcomes..

a If we observe that our data positively supports our prediction, then we have hypothesis confirmation..(at least for now)

b. If we observe that our data do not support our prediction, then we have hypothesis falsification and we may be forced to either give up or modify our hypothesis.

c. If there are simply not enough data to decide either way, then we suspend judgement.

6. Finally we need to consider whether there are any other competing hypothesis that provide an equally plausible or likely explanation for our observation. If there are we need to ask ourselves which seems more reasonable. If there are no others, then we may decide to tentatively to accept the hypothesis based on the currently available information.

From Christopher DiCarlo…Phd Bioethics & Philosophy..

Like I have said the opposition I get to this is amazing but when one accepts this then we have great discussions. The one I like the best is when I am told I always think I am right usually just after I have said I can be wrong on anything…

Here is an amazing example from a page of devout Christians called Born Again in India. The answer to my question is simple but it challenges the very concept of the belief and to deny the belief is considered a sin so to accept the obvious answer is blasphemy. What a great trap devised by someone long ago.

Gary David Currie

If I told you I was god and I was here to test you most would fail the test…How would you know if I was god or not?

Jawahar Peter…… HolySpirit in us says you are not yet bornagain. so u can be god but not God. disobedient angels lucipher etc have become gods and make u god. But JESUS is God incarnate to save us from the clutches of god of this world and make us BornAgain to give us Gods image back.

Jawahar Peter……… u should know the difference between only “God” of abraham jacob issac moses and the gods of heathen like baal baalaji .

Gary David Currie….. Jawahar Peter you have failed the test once again. your arrogance has blinded you..to those I have sent to you. Your path has become poisoned by your
condemnation of others that is my job not yours. you are my servant but you are playing god and you must stop. Go back and follow the path of Christ, be humble and give to those in need without telling them what they need as I will do that. You shall reap what you sow I have sent a humble man who serves me well and you have done nothing but condemn him he exhibits what I want and follows my path and you have strayed far from the path. Accpet him where he is at not where you are. Humble yourself before your god and pray for forgiveness in your arrogance this I command of you. Break my command and pay the price Jawhar….

Jawahar Peter …My God is JESUS. is JESUS your God? many times u rejected CHRIST and so i refuse to buy your commands which are from lucipher. I am washed in the blood of Christ. are u washed in the blood of Christ? if u say yes then i can consider your suggestion but if you reject Jesus as your Lord u have lost the opportunity to correct me. i cant listen to people whose god is Satan 2 cor 4:4

Gary David Currie …..YOU DARE QUESTION ME……………..YOU HAVE FAILED AND WILL BE PUNISHED ACCORDINGLY FOR YOUR ARROGANCE AND DISBELIEF. THIS IS MY FINAL WORD UNTIL YOU REPENT OF YOUR ARROGANCE.

Derek William Helberg….. Jawahar, come on now and get off of your soap box. Can you not see that this jackal is trying to bait you, the same jackal that seems to have no friends but hangs out on this page begging for attention. Dust your feet off of this pretender and move on, it is not your duty to argue, the Holy Spirit will have his day.

Jawahar Peter…. satan will have so many final words. he is deceiver and thief. But Jesus love is eternal He gives chance till last breadth. dont loose/forfeit Jesus grace by
your arrogance. i have lot of problems in my person i am the worst sinner forgiven by Jesus. its not my goodness or any thing. despite my shortcomings Jesus loves me. i am also ready to accept you provided you dont deny grace of Lord Jesus. i am trying to love u a fraction of what Jesus loved me. but i cant condone the atheism spirit or obstinate person in you.

So the obvious answer is….. I wouldn’t know….. but this person would have lost their mind if they had to admit that. It would shake the very foundation of all they held as true and brought into question everything, I see this as a good thing they did not.

“The moment we are willing to look into nothing is the moment we will be willing to see everything.”

I hope one day all can see the power in this statement I offer. I am not the first to see this and I hope I am not the last.. We don’t know what we don’t know. This is probably the most important post I have written but will mostly be ignored. I have planted a seed that will germinate and bear fruit one day.

Who Hijacked Reality / #632 Sick and tired……..of all the bullshit.

Journal Entry #632

January 14th, 2012

It has been awhile since I have written on my blog. Like I have said I was facing a personal tragedy that has taken me some time to work through. I am so thankful that I acknowledged the steps one must take to get through. I did not fight them but let them happen. I never knew I had so many tears in me. I am starting to get to the last stage but will still go back and forth between the last 3 stages of grief. Acceptance is the goal.

As my world view changes on my journey and as I try to keep both my eyes and my mind open I continually learn. I see so much waste of potential in humanity focusing on the things that do harm not bring about positive change and happiness.

Sometimes I think I am in the wrong place and in the wrong time. I feel as though I do not belong here and do not fit in. I long for a society where the beings are peaceful and have put their barbaric past behind them. I feel I would fit in there. I just get sick and tired of all the bullshit and harm we do to each other. It is so unnecessary and counterproductive to the species.

I am sick and tired;

Of the way we treat each other.

Of people focusing on the negatives in life and not looking for the good in each other.

Of lies and more lies and more lies as I see fear, lies and drama as the killer of humanity.

Of not acknowledging and accepting the truth on anything.

Of our lack of empathy towards each other.

Of wilful stupidity.

Of just doing the wrong thing for all the wrong reasons..

Of our complete lack of foresight as a species.

Of our lack of humility when called for.

Of our selfishness that does not include the welfare of others.

Of our runaway greed and self indulgent behaviour.

Of all our fighting and violence towards each other.

Of ignorance.

Of not sharing with each other creating a gap in our well being.

Of just not listening to those that can truly set us free..

Of our belief in things we cannot know to be true and the resulting behaviour of acting on those beliefs.

Of constantly appealing to the emotions that do not bring about the best in us.

Of wilfully hurting others and just not giving a shit…..

Of ignoring reality and the consequences of this action….

Of the blinders we seem to like to wear and the paths of destruction this can leave behind.

I really have hope for our species but at the same time I do believe most of us do not deserve the lives we have been allowed as we waste them. We waste our potential and our limited time in life. I have watched people engage in self indulgent behaviour ignorant to the consequences, to the effect on others. I am sure we all have seen this at some point.

Can we make it? I think we can but it will take a leader unlike anyone we have seen before, A person who shows us a position we have rarely seen and then the willingness to listen to this person.

I really am sick and tired of all the bullshit and to be very frank here most of what we do to each other is absolute bullshit.

It is our fears in life that propel us to run from all that is good, right and true. What I have seen has led me to the conclusion that this is not something we can escape although humanity tries hard with a terrible cost. What is right and true will eventually prevail. One can only run so long until they must turn around. It is then when one faces their fears and is willing to take the road back while difficult well worth it that they will have a worthy life. This is inevitable for all. If we could only learn to accept this before we start running away from truth, what is just and what is right we could rise to our potential as individuals and as a species.

I try to see the good in humanity and the good in all. I try to see the potential not where they are at.

I offer this as a mantra of sorts that if we could all adopt we could begin to achieve who we truly can be;

I will see the good in you even when you do not.

I will see what you can become even when you do not.

I will look beyond where you are at and see where you can be.

I will take your hurt and your pain so that you can be free.

I will be a light when you are lost.

I will be an anchor when you are adrift.

I will see you even when you do not see yourself & I will be there when you are ready to see me.

Gary David Currie  10/12/2011

I believe love can conquer fear, that right will trump wrong and that justice will prevail. I have hope for humanity, I have hope for those lost and we must make the light brighter for those to find their way back.

I feel as though I do not belong here but also realize that I do. I hope one will rise above the voices that deceive us, that this person will value truth and see the good in us all and that we are finally ready to listen.

Personally I have nothing left to fear. I have faced my fears and now I am ready to truly live. I hope all can reach this point as it is liberating…

We must face our fears or they will face us.

I must have hope for without hope we all have lost our way……….

Who Hijacked Reality / #628 Chasing

Journal Entry #628

December 13th, 2011

Life sure can be interesting, it can be full of joy or full of sorrow, full of pain or full of happiness, full of excitement or full of dullness, sometimes we make the choices and sometimes the choices are made for us.

On my personal journey and that really is what my blog is all about, my experinces and how I  see the world, how I see life and how I grow and learn there are many small realizations along the way and sometimes huge ones. I would not say I have had at anytime that epiphany moment and I do look forward to that someday but I have had those many little moments. The important thing I realized long ago is that I needed to be open to them and I do believe I am.

One of these realizations is to find that balance between chasing want you desire and knowing when to stop. As long as you keep chasing someone they will keep running. There is a difference between being with someone and chasing them. There is a difference between trying to get out your ideas and forcing them onto people. Advertisers have figured this out a long time ago and I would say the best at it are those who peddle drugs as they get you hooked and then you are chasing them.

I think life is really simple and they we tend to complicate it which in turn kind of makes it seem a little crazy. We really know what we want but the problem is that what we want in the moment always changes. Just when we think we have it all figured out boom the next moment presents a left turn. That is what makes life exciting those left turns.

If you have something that is worthy, that is based on truth I do believe people will seek it out. Sometimes you have to chase others a little just to get the idea out but then you have to back off or they will not value it. Once they are hooked they will chase the idea and it is then the process of equilibrium can be worked out.

No magical formula for any of this just a moment by moment adjustment in our lives.

This is all part of the process of seeking the truth on any matter and if one is willing to do this, to be open to the changes and process that life offers they will be amazed at what life has in store.

I personally believe at this moment I have found this balance in regards to who and what I should chase, when to stop and why. Of course this may change but for now I will go with the realization. It seem to be all about letting go and doing the things you love because they are the things you love to do. Sure I hope my music and anything I do artistically is a success and I think I do everything within my power to bring this to light but at this point i just need to relax on it and other things in my life and while I have hopes as  to how they will turn out I must also enjoy the moments I have without them. Very hard to do to let go  on anything but once one accepts that they
really are holding onto to an illusion in the first place as control does not exist then the chances improve.

You never know who is watching from the sidelines and what they will bring to your journey.

I wrote this the other day and I think it offers great value.

“I will see you.”

Who Hijacked Reality / #618 Can we ever get what we want?

Monday, November 21st, 2011

Journal Entry #618

November 21st 2011

In life there is what we want and what we need in life. Can we ever get what we want because the moment we get it we no longer want it we now want something else.

Often what we want is a fantasy that we can never get. We have a vision of what life will be like at certain times and fantasize as to what the future will be like. I would say rarely does it ever work out that way as life gets in the way.

We all seem to want happiness and yet I would think that the happiness we seek is not what usually makes us happy. Happiness like all things happens in moments.

So what does this mean in our lives?

It means that we must constantly adjust our wants along the way. Personally I believe that we must define these wants by 2 guidelines, they must be realistic and attainable. This certainly limits our possibilities because we have very little if any control of our lives. The best we can do is influence when we can and hope that things go our way, in other words we need some luck.

There are certainly things we can do to improve the odds in getting what we want but there is definitely no guarantee.

Many people seem to have wants or goals that are not realistic or attainable and base their life’s on these wants. They will surely be disappointed.

So much misery has at its core how we go about getting what we want.

So might I suggest that we base our wants on how life works how reality works and enjoy the moments of happiness that are realistic and attainable. This would surely alleviate much of the disappointment we often feel in our life’s.

Life can be fantastic at times, miserable at times and everything in-between but if you can find someone who is willing to share these moments with you then you will surely attain those moments of happiness. If you are happy being alone then I hope you find it this way as well but I would bet that the vast majority of us want to be able to share them as I believe the most important thing we can do to obtain happiness is to value others and in turn we get what we give.

Happiness like all emotional states is momentary so enjoy those moments.

Who Hijacked Reality / #35 A reminder that life is short.

Journal Entry # 35

March 26th, 2010

As I was sitting here thinking about the things in life that we can all do to make each day valued I received a call from a friend I had not heard from in awhile. As I looked at the name on the call display I knew it was not a telemarketer so I picked up immediately wondering how they we doing. I had bought a piece of property about 11 years back all excited that we were going to build our dream home on it. One day when the kids and I were there clearing the land the couple that had bought the property next us came over to introduce themselves. Within seconds I noticed that this was a girl who I had been in love with when I was 17. We had become good friends since she was not allowed to go out with me and really didn’t have the same feelings for me. As high school ended and everyone moved on we lost touch and of course went our separate ways. I was happy to see that she had found happiness. Over the next 11 years we stayed connected and visited each other.

The call was not what I expected it was her partner telling me that she had died of lung cancer. As he explained to me the details of her contracting the disease just 3 short months ago I felt saddened and reminded of how quickly our life can end.  She was young. There is no immortality.

I ask you these questions as I am sure we all know someone who has died too soon.

Are you happy with your life?

Have you helped someone else have a better life?

Have you made each day, each hour and each minute important?

If you were to die today would you have any regrets?

Do you know someone else who would have regrets?

What are you going to do to make each moment count?

There is no afterlife. This is the only chance we get. So many people waste each moment in life and we need to stop doing this. So many people needlessly die each day. I ask you to make each day count not only for you but for all around you and all on this planet. We really have to stop hurting each other. We really need to just give everything we have to each moment.
