Over the past year I have been speaking out on my blog, through my music and art and the more I engage in conversation the more I see a few constants. God is so very small.

The believers I have talked with over the last year all over the world have one thing in common, they believe in god because it fulfills their desires. It allows them to feel they will get what they fell they need even though those needs cannot be filled in reality. The world, the universe does not work the way they want it to but that doesn’t stop them from trying to make it work within their beliefs.

The one thing that is consistently lost and ignored is the truth and how we determine it through the process of reason and science.

The Universe is so very, very big almost beyond anything that we can comprehend. Science has shown us so much especially in the last 30 years. Throughout all these discoveries we have watched the gods of man shrink daily while the universe we live in expands in both scope and beauty. There really is no good reason to accept any of the gods of man as real, there is no evidence that is credible in any way and each day the reasons people believe become smaller and smaller.

There are so many great documentaries and other videos available that show the wonders of the universe, the wonders science reveals to us. The beautiful thing about all these films and all the information available is that it will be based on truth, on reality not on some supernatural nonsense.

I am going to listen to people such as Brian Cox to tell me about the universe. You can choose who you want to listen to but I would hope they are dealing with reality.

With each discovery the gods of man will disappear, they will have no place in this brave new world. It will not be long now until we discover life on other planets and it is this discovery that will and should change everything. At that moment the gods of man need to completly disappear and I hope they do. We need to realize that the universe could not care less about humanity it has bigger problems.

If you believe in god in some form or another it really is time to accept the truth in this universe. Will it be what you want to hear, probably not. There is no point in me offering you a science lesson as the above video will provide that much better than I ever could.

My message is clear; the gods of man probably and again I say this with a very high degree of confidence are not real. It is time as a species we embrace and acknowledge reality and all it has to offer. This will be humanities finest hour if we do this. We as a species being aware of our existence and able to look beyond the moment and our needs for that moment have never been in a position where we have given reality and truth the opportunity to guide us to be better.

The truth will surely set us free and the lies will surely imprison us.

I have been told that one day I will be begging on my knees for gods’ forgiveness, for god to accept me well maybe that day will happen. I doubt it but until then here are my terms for god. If god truly values me he will earn my respect and worship. Nothing is free in this life and I do not give my respect and loyalty lightly.

You may think I am arrogant, disrespectful, full of pride, blasphemous or just downright crazy but you would certainly have to prove it first before I will accept it.

MY TERMS;

1. Make up your mind, are you loving or not.

2. Let me be god for a month and show you how it’s done.

3. Get your ass down here and put this stupid debate to rest.

4. Balance this world out.

5. Apologize to all you have lied to.

6. Straighten out this idea of making money off your name.

7. Get people to stop killing and hurting people in your name.

8. Don’t you think it is about time for a cure for cancer or better yet take all these nasty diseases away?

9. Those that really hurt others need to be punished and I will leave that up to you. How about sticking them all on a planet and see what happens.

10. Explain the origins of the universe.

11. Solve some of the mysteries but leave us lots to do.

12. I want to see a video presentation of heaven and hell.

13. Bring Jesus along so we can meet him.

14. Scold all those religious leaders who are in it for themselves and the money.

15. Tell Ted Haggard that it is ok to be GAY and to stop pretending he is not.

16. Straighten those Mormons out and every other religion that got it wrong.

17. Let the meek have a shot at running things.

18. Tell everyone it is time to stop blaming the Jews for everything.

19. How about peace on earth that would be nice. We still need our problems but we don’t need to be hurting each other.

20. Explain where you came from just because it would be nice to know.

21. Introduce us to Mrs. God and the in-laws.

These are my terms and if my soul is valuable and I am worth it like I keep hearing the faithful say then GOD will agree to my terms.

This really is what religion is all about isn’t it, the threat of going to a hell. Once you get past all the nonsense this is where it always ends up. This is what is told to countless influential children and ignorant people looking for hope in their life’s. If you do not submit in whatever way is deemed appropriate for the religion in question you will end up in a hell. The Chinese have 1,000’s of them.

Recently I was invited to offer my challenges to religion on a FACE BOOK page called Born Again.

          Instill that fear.

 As you can tell by the title they are a group of Christians based out of India who consider themselves Born Again into Jesus. Now there are people from all over the world on this page and I have talked with many. Mostly the standard silly arguments. Now the reason I was asked to do this was twofold; 1. So they could convert me and 2. So they could practise debating an atheist. Well I guess they had enough as this was my final warning.

Moderator…….. Dear all Born-agains…  Gary is intentionally choosing Hell. We know God never puts any one to hell without reason or sufficient warning. I am sure Gary has seen Gods love through our persuasion. Better leave him now. He is adamant. Thank God our time is not waste because we are sharpened to face still bigger atheists.

Different Christian…..I agree. Some will argue just for arguments sake. What little Jesus does ask of us after giving it all? God bless you brother Raj.

Gary David Currie ……WOW you say I am choosing hell. Thanks for condemning me. Why can’t I still be a non believer and go to heaven? That is what a real father would do.

I would never treat my children the way you say your god will treat me.

I am a great person,… I am in the service of others and have been so for many years. I care deeply about humanity and I long for a peaceful world. I am all about love and peace.

But because I at this point or may never accept your god as true you and your god will condemn me to torture and hell for eternity.

This is pathetic and why I speak out.

You call that love. You say you care, All your god and you do is judge and condemn if we are different than you.

You say you’re are about Peace how is this Peace. This is a twisted version of PEACE. This is not unconditional love.

Your Statement has verified exactly what I say about Christianity and the sad thing is that you are all fine with this concept. You wish hell for me if a do not agree with you or accept your god. Do you not see how wrong and twisted this really is

If your god was really about love he would accept me no matter what I believed.

It is difficult to think rationally when this is your primary focus.

“If you believe in heaven and hell and you believe you have to be saved nothing else could possibly matter. Not the first amendment, not science, not rational debate. All that matters is that you’re going to be rejoined with the people you love most on this earth.”

This pretty much sums it up. When you are so diluted that you believe in a Heaven and a hell you will do whatever you have to do to get there with the ones you love. You will be blinded to the actual idea that your god is a control freak which of course verifies he is no god at all. This basis for everything else that takes place in the life of the faithful. They will now have to follow all the rules so they don’t go to hell.

This reminds of the Brutal Regimes we have in the world today. My way or death but you disguise it with the veil of love.

If I actually thought this was real I would fight the idea to the death. The problem is that many do think it is real and they follow it to the death of others.

The veil of love thinly disguises the beast it conceals but once challenged the fangs will slowly appear until they are deep within you.

I recently joined a group called the Toronto Truthers. They said there agenda was to discuss openly and search for the truth. This was as far from the truth as you can get. I am interested in truth on all matters, all sorts of issues. When I began to discuss things the topic got hot and heavy about religion, Here is a sample of what followed.

All I did was ask a simple question, How do you determine truth and what does it mean?

I’m talking about God here, and what they feel in their hearts. 

 Respect for God should be innate. 

 To not have respect for the maker would insinuate some “reason to believe” you don’t have to.

 While it is good to ensure no human evils over come the populations on whole, and to these types of deceits I open all eyes; however to anyway try to insinuate “billions” loving their maker as people being fooled, I don’t accept that, and frankly is an evil statement trying to undermine the love and respect we OWE to God.

 Yes billions are being fooled by the great deceiver, but God does not deceive, and will not. Jesus Christ, neither will deceive, nor the Holy Spirit who walks with us, if you want of course.

 I will never get over “the respect” for my God. If that offends you, then this country for you, as this country was founded by God loving, Christians, one of which I am.

 Who the HELL are YOU? And what the hell do you have any right to tell me in the country my forefathers fought for to tell me there is no GOD?

May they come their graves and HAUNT YOU DAY AND NIGHT, until you believe of course.

What I love about this more than anything is the way he says God bless you at the end after giving a rightous rant.

I stand by what I say.

 This country was founded by God FEARING, God LOVING, Christians. Not that I don’t love everyone else!

 You love to mouth off how much there is no God in this country, yet you are protected by what blood they spilled out on the battlefield. And guess what? They PRAYED to GOD while their lives slipped from this earth into His hands.

 Our country, our way of life is going down the tubes. Individuals who have no respect for “God” and it doesn’t matter if your faith be it Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Hindi, Buddhist - God LOVES YOU. In what ever means you respect GOOD. RESPECT should be innate for all people – “what you do for the least of my brothers or sisters, you do for me.” Right? So same thing, respect others and we will get along.

 Respect = LOVE, that’s your problem you don’t like to RESPECT GOD, so how can you LOVE Him?

 People, or anything else next come on the list… if you don’t respect God, how can you respect his people?

 You want to call me a preacher, yet you have no clue who I am.

 I am no one on this earth, but I am still more than you, as long I have God’s blessings, and I show him all my love.

 Saying there is no God to one who truly believes is like telling you,  there will be no ”AIR” to breathe tomorrow, would you panic?

 I think so.

 That’s how important it should be to be connected to your maker. Imagine you too could see what great works could be done to “fix” your life. 

Everyone’s life needs ‘fixing” so don’t worry bud, mine does too.

 I use math, science and technology like any tool, BUT TO REPLACE GOD? COME ON!

 What you can feel and touch is all you want to believe in, that’s pretty sad in terms of personal “faith” goals. You have to set the bar a little higher than that.

 “what I see, I believe”, isn’t that exactly what they want you to believe?

 So when project blue beam and all the other deceits take place, you will “BELIEVE what you see”, but forget God altogether.

 Sad.

 We were meant for much more, stop denying yourself. Allow yourself to be loved; this is the real reasons why you are having problems.

This is just a small sample of the conversation. I was also accused of being many things.

Now there were others well 2 who were on the same wavelength as me but the vast majority were not. What baffles me more than anything is that these people are searching for truth in their opinion and involved in all sorts of conspiracy thinking and yet they have missed the mark. If you follow all the evidence god is probably not real, how can I take anything they say seriously

Day to day we try to make sense of the world around us. Most things we see we just shake our head a bit and move on or we see most things as normal which is exactly what the parts of the world want you to do. Then there are those times when you just can’t make sense of it no matter how you twist and turn it. The other day I was watching a spot of TV with my lovely wife when on came this commercial for KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken for those who do not know, maybe you live in a country where you eat healthy foods), They were advertising their new Pink Bucket of chicken where they will donate .50 for every purchase. So you buy the bucket of death, food that just begs to be eaten so you can get fatter and fatter and become obese and when you’re done you can feel great because you just helped KFC conquer breast cancer. Now if you’re eating this bucket of unhealthy shit you’re probably going to light up a cigarette after your meal to relax but remember as you slowly enjoy each inhale of that beautiful cancer causing smoke that you just saved someone’s tits. Good for you. Now remember the cigarette companies will now donate .25 for every pack you buy to helping deal with obesity. So when you get sick either way your covered.

Another thing that makes no sense to me is this. Everywhere you look you can see advertisements for beer, liquor and wine but advertising for cigarette companies banned from TV and other spots. We don’t want our youth smoking but they need to get all liquored up. What the hell is the difference? Are they both not legal? So what group of idiots decided that one was OK and the other dangerous? There both dangerous you idiots. They both should be banned from advertising. Although they are legal the list of problems they and other drugs cause is enormous. Show me one example of long term drug use that has turned out for the best. How much money as a society do we spend trying to address the problems? Still with 0% positive outcome people still do drugs and we allow certain ones to be advertised as though it is the greatest thing in the world to do. This makes no sense to me. Buck up the suds because apparently it’s Ok according to someone in the government. There is nothing like hockey and beer to make for a great evening of fighting.

One more thing that makes no sense to me for this post. To be honest the list is very long but whose isn’t? I really get sick of this political battle in the USA between the Democrats and the Republican. The old 2 party system. Why not take the best of both parties and make a new party? Now you don’t have to deal with hardcore fringe from both sides. Don’t most Americans sit somewhere in the middle anyway? If both the parties lost an election at the same time it might force them to really examine what they need to change. Instead of this back and forth election wins thing that they have being doing for about 200 and something years maybe they need a real change. You can call the party The Responsible Government Party who has Taken an Oath not to Lie and Serve the People According to The Laws Of the Land. That might be something unique. Hell it might even work. What ideas do you have for a new party name and a Logo? How about a party  that also has nothing to do with any religion?

There time is over. It’s not working.

As long as we continue to do stupid things we will get stupid results. Maybe it’s time to look at scaling back on fast food restaurants and smoking and anything else that causes damage. One day America is going to wake up while being attacked and not be able to do nothing about it because there too fat or too sick. I am sure that other countries are actually planning this.
