Why do we follow books that profess imaginary friends that were written 1,500 to 2,000 years ago? This makes no sense. The idea is to evolve towards a better world for humanity not to listen to tribesman who would think that almost anything they would see in this modern world would be magic. Hell a lighter would make them think I was a god.
Ok so don’t give me the 10 commandments as the ultimate set of rules because I would think that not stealing and killing each other is pretty much common sense.
Islamic law is barbaric and if we actually followed the bible literally it would be barbaric as well, time to get with the times and let the holy books people follow stay in their time.

Here is the reality of Islamic law in the country that people are dying to liberate. When we are done and leave it will go back to the same because religion is still the law of the land and the problem.
A quote from this documentary;
“It is better to have a bad husband than no husband”
Not to mention that there is no good evidence to prove that god is even real, but to follow what humanity professes their god commands is ridiculous.
The idea is to continue to learn, to advance and religious dogma keeps us in the past where it has to proven to be of little value. Yet many continue to believe.
A Christian once said to me and I am paraphrasing “The bible answers every question we could ever ask and is the greatest guide known to man”. If the answers you seek are not based in reality and truthful then yes it does. Also as all books it will be subjective. The usual answers the bible will give is “Because god says so” and if you are OK with this then you really are limiting yourself to your desires to have eternal life.
If we continue to follow these holy books we will continue to be stuck in the past, personally I prefer the present and what the future will bring for us.

Ok so I am taking the easy way out. I am tired, been working like a dog and the stories I have to write about will take some research as I want to get my facts straight. So I will post my insightful comments from FB. Well at least they are insightful to me.

-One day I will go to sleep and not wake up but until that day arrives I will try to value every damn moment I have and I suggest you all do the same because this is it.
If you have been planning to do something do it.
If you have a dream follow it.
Never go to bed angry and always fight the good fight.
Above all avoid the drama.
- I will never give up on my hope for humanity to rise to the challenge of being a peaceful, intelligent & compassionate species.
-At what point will people who are deluded wake up to reality? I am just curious how much longer we will keep killing each other over imaginary friends.
-Let’s take the fantasy to the next level.
-I finally found a dollar figure to attach to Christmas.
Americans spend annually 154 billion dollars.
One economist estimates the cost to permanently eradicate poverty and preventable disease at 180 billion dollars.
We as a species spend this and more at Christmas alone. What does this say?
We should send a starving child Christmas cake or a toy they would appreciate that.
-I don’t mind the cold but when my truck has to scream to wake up and you are scrapping ice from both the inside and outside I have had my limit, especially in December. Folks the weather patterns are drastically changing so for those of you who think we are not accelerating global warming you must be Republicans.
-Can someone please show me one verified act that god has actually done. I think that we will realize that we are the one doing both acts of kindness and acts of evil. If this is the case then we can chose the acts we do. Let’s leave god out of the picture and just get on with positive change.
-We really could have made a difference on a large scale this Christmas if we actually had taken all the money we spend and put it towards world poverty and preventable disease. This would have really been the true spirit of giving.
-So Jesus walks into an Inn hands the innkeeper 3 nails and says “can you put me up for the night”.
-We are a curious species, so trapped by our emotions. They are our biggest ally and our deepest enemy.
-The sooner we realize that we as a species have created our problems and take responsibility the sooner we will work on the solutions.

-Most people are unaware of the hard work that goes into making a blog, a video, a music video, music, art or anything creative. So the next time you see or hear something original under any of these contexts I ask you to appreciate and value the work ethic whether you like the piece or not. The vast majority of people who do this actually make no money and spend their own. If you have time throw a pat on the back we all need this in one form or another. We need the people who go against the stream.
