At this stage in my life after writing about what I see as the core issues that lead us to harming each other I am trying to continually show the basics of reality.
As the title of my blog indicates reality is being hijacked and portrayed as something it is not.. While this is still a part of reality it is a part we must get past or we will keep making the same mistakes over and over.
There is nothing more that I can do but to keep doing this and have hope so that is what I do as there is no magic solution, no great powerful being coming to save the day it is up to us as individuals and as a species..

As I continue this journey we all call life I use the tools at my disposal. I have picked up photography because for me it serves a purpose and have found I very much enjoy capturing those moments in time.
I like to take 100′s of pictures of what I think are interesting things that speak to me. Sometimes I stop driving just to get that one shot… I figure you either have an eye for this or you don’t.
As an artist I find I must combine many crafts to get what I want which is the fun part. For me it is not a struggle and comes easily which I am thankful for..

Each day I just enjoy the process of life more and more. I live I breath deeper breathes taking it all in.
We don’t have much time to live so it is important we just discard all the crap from our life’s best we can.
So many are neck deep in the crap that they cannot see beyond this.
Part of what I do daily is to just by being me become infectious with my attitude; I hope these pictures will infect you. I also put them up because my mom has no other way of seeing them and it is important to me that she shares in my adventures.

I have not bought myself a treat in such a long time. I used to set my eye on something and then save the money up for it practising delayed gratification but as one has a family and the process of trying to keep that family together you change habits. Money has been incredibly tight in starting over in the new town only buying what we need and only paying cash so we are back to a no credit policy and cash only. I set my sights on a new camera as my old one cannot do what I need it to do.
I waited until the prices dropped and dropped from $450.00 to on sale last week at $199.00 I took all my money I made from busking and I bought it and a new heavy duty tripod also on sale at 35% off so I got it for $55.00.
Well did I score as my new camera had features I did not even know about and I love it. I am out documenting life and it appears I have a good eye for photography even though I would not call myself a photographer. I just like taking pictures of the process of life.
The key for me is getting a good clean picture and then playing with it in photo shop. This is where I have my fun.
I love where I live and I am not going back. It feels as if I should have been here my entire life. I am going to explore the world, document life and grab every moment. Those that want to join me are welcome those that do not well do your thing…
