What do you do when you have something to say, something you feel can help people and no one wants to hear it? What do you do when you are a voice in the wilderness and you want to be heard? What do you do when you believe strongly in what you have to say and you want to preach to more than the choir? How do you reach others so they can make up their own minds on what you have to say or show them?

I try very hard not to preach to the choir and that is why I try to be as controversial as I can without stepping over the lines I have set. The main line is no lying. It seems to me that people want to be lied to. People want to be told what they want to hear and if you can figure that out then you will get their attention. I will not lie. I realize this is not the popular approach but I will not compromise.
I saw a video on You tube today that showed me what we are dealing with when it comes to ignorance in the world towards evolution, towards truth. Pay close attention to what the student says near the end in regards to black people.

Rare Look Inside Bible Belt Classroom
When you have teachers who believe in creation teaching kids who believe in creation in the science class the creation theory instead of what they are supposed to be teaching the facts of evolution where does that leave us? This would be a perfect opportunity for a science teacher to teach science to minds that need to be opened to the wonders of science. It completely baffles me how someone can call themselves a science teacher and then believe in creation. I guess they do not believe in the theory of evidence. He might as well teach Unicorns 101 followed by the Theory and Uses of Fairy Dust 102. He says he is conflicted believing in one thing and then being forced to teach another, he should probably quit teaching in the public school system and find a job at a Christian college where they teach fairy tales 101 as a prerequisite or maybe Hogwarts is looking for a new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.
Why is it that religions do not want their children and followers exposed to different views? If they are so right then they have nothing to worry about. Preaching to the choir is the same as developing a cult. Now not all religions carry this view and to those that encourage people to seek out the truth I applaud your choices. The Bahia faith is one such religion.

Joel Osteen on the gospel cannot make up his mind.
These are very bold statements that I would like to see the evidence for. Remember it is the responsibility of the one making the claim to provide the proof. Christians claim there is a god I would have no need to refute that claim if they did not make it so the responsibility is on them, on Joel Osteen and others. Joel really doesn’t care about me I don’t pay his bills so there is no need to answer my concerns he is preaching to the choir.
It is imperative to seek out answers to your questions but it is also imperative that those answers be true. If you watch preachers like Joel Osteen who preach to arenas full of believers you can see this is what people want, people want to be told the lies they want to hear. Yes it is bold and arrogant for me to state that what they are hearing are lies but what I did not say is what the truth is. I do not know exactly 100% what is true but I do know how to search out credible evidence to find out what is true and what is not.
I really do wish the choir was open-minded. I wish the choir was looking for the truth. I wish this was a perfect world where I was rich and popular but of course this is all wishful thinking. Reality says humans are gullible, fantasy believing and selfish and I really don’t know how to reach them with the truth but I will keep trying.
Seek the truth always
